D-Link announces Covr Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi, the new systems equipped with Wi-Fi 6

D-Link has announced the latest products in its Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi range with the launch of the new systems Covr AX1800 : COVR-X1862 (pack of 2) and COVR-X1863 (3-pack), designed to provide uninterrupted connectivity.

These systems are equipped with the latest technology Wi-Fi 6 and offer speeds dual-band Wi-Fi combined up to 1.8 Gbps, with the latest integrated WPA3 encryption technology to ensure a secure and increasingly secure connection. The coverage of the two systems reaches up to 420 square meters and 600 square meters, respectively and to further expand it just add more Covr Points.

The two new arrivals also boast MU-MIMO, OFDMA and BSS Coloring technologies to increase network capacity and performance. Thanks to Smart Roaming , the systems continuously analyze the strength of the wireless signal throughout the network and automatically connect the devices to the Covr Point with the strongest signal.

These Covr support voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, giving users complete control over their home, without having to move a finger. Also included is the parental control function that allows devices to be assigned to family members' profiles by individually blocking certain websites or setting schedules for Wi-Fi access and shutdown.

Finally, the various devices can be configured in a very short time using the free D-Link Wi-Fi app, available for devices compatible with Android or iOS. If you prefer wired access , there are built-in Gigabit Ethernet ports to provide reliable performance for Network Attached Storage (NAS), smart TVs and gaming consoles.
