Google's QUIC internet standard has been made available to everyone and brings more speed

Over time, numerous efforts have been made by Google to be able to speed up the internet network . One of the latest results obtained has recently been made available to everyone, and it is the official internet standard QUIC (Quick UDP Internet Connections), published by Internet Engineering Task Force .

The Internet Engineering Task Force itself has communicated that by now this data transmission technology , faster than the previous ones, is sufficiently consolidated to be used in a widespread way . The technology is a replacement for TCP (Transmission Control Protocol), which manages the way data is processed and transmitted in packets.

QUIC instead uses UDP (User Datagram Protocol) which boasts faster retrieval, faster encrypted connections and better management of network switches. In other words, website visits, chats, video calls and mobile browsing should benefit . However, the diffusion of QUIC is not so obvious , since it could take some time for everyone to abandon the TCP, which has been available since 1974.
