Green Pass: the platform to obtain the COVID-19 Green Certification is online

After updating the Immuni and IO apps to support the COVID-19 green certification (the so-called green pass ), the Italian site is now active, from which soon it will be possible to request this certification.

What is the European Green Pass and when does it arrive

The Green Pass is a certification, available in paper form (to be requested from the general practitioner or pharmacist) or digital (via QR code), which certifies vaccination , recovery or the result of a negative swab .

Starting from July 1st, the Green Pass will allow you to travel to the countries of the European Union without having to undergo the quarantine provided for. In Italy, it was approved with the Prime Ministerial Decree signed by Draghi on June 17.

The platform from which it will be possible to request the COVID-19 green certification is already online at dgc.gov.it, but currently it is not yet possible to download your green pass: if you have already had the vaccine, you will receive a communication via SMS or email when the Green Certification will be available on the website.

How to apply for the Green Pass

As soon as available, it will be possible to request the Green Pass on the dgc.gov.it website, by logging in with SPID or CIE (Electronic Identity Card) .

Alternatively, it can be requested directly through Immuni and, soon, through the IO app. The saved QR code will be available even offline .

In any case, to obtain the Green Pass in digital version, it will be necessary to enter:

  • the last 8 digits of the identification number of your health card,
  • the expiry date of the same,
  • one of the unique codes received with:
    • the molecular swab (CUN)
    • the rapid antigenic swab (NRFE)
    • the certificate of healing (NUCG).

As an alternative to these codes, you can enter the authorization code (AUTHCODE) received via e-mail or SMS to the contact details you provided during the health service.
