Gucci opens to cryptocurrency payment in some stores

Gucci will also accept payments in cryptocurrencies. At least in the first phase, however, the project will include only a few American stores . Towards the summer, then, as reported in Vogue Business, the initiative could be expanded.

The accepted cryptocurrencies will be Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Wrapped Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Shiba Inu and five stablecoins linked to the US dollar. The stores already included in the pilot project, however, include: Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles and Wooster Street in New York and Las Vegas.

Good news, therefore, for all customers eager to shop with cryptocurrencies. Different speech, however, for customers Tesla , who canceled its attempt to open to cryptocurrencies due to tax reasons.
