Still having issues with Map Network Drive Missing after Windows 11 22H2 Update?

If you’re missing your Map Network Drive option after updating to Windows 11 version 22H2, you’re not alone. Several users have reported the same issue, and while it’s currently unclear what’s causing the problem, there are a couple of possible workarounds.

First, make sure that the HomeGroup service is disabled. HomeGroup was removed in Windows 11 version 22H2, and it’s possible that the Map Network Drive feature is also disabled if the HomeGroup service is still running. To disable the HomeGroup service, open the Services console (search for services.msc in the Start menu) and double-click on the HomeGroup service. In the Properties window, set the Startup type to Disabled and click the Stop button to stop the service. Once the service is stopped, click OK to close the window.
