Ukraine legalizes cryptocurrencies to welcome donations

The situation of the conflict in Ukraine unfortunately remains critical, especially for the civilians and for the government organizations who find themselves with few resources. In this context, a large part of the international community has moved with large donations .

Precisely in the sense of welcoming all types of donations received, Ukraine has just taken the decision to legalize cryptocurrencies. Large sums of digital money are arriving in the form of donations to the government and humanitarian organizations operating on Ukrainian territory.

In this context, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj has signed a bill to legalize cryptocurrencies in the country. This means that Ukrainian banks will be able to open accounts compatible with cryptocurrencies, while the National Bank of Ukraine and the National Securities and Stock Market Commission will pay supervision of cryptocurrency transactions.

Being able to accept this type of donation will allow Ukraine to further support the war effort required after the invasion by Russia.
